Travel Planning Tools

Planning a trip can be exciting, but it can also get overwhelming fast. Between choosing where to stay, deciding which activities are worth it, and figuring out how everything fits together, it’s easy to spend hours jumping between tabs.

Over the years I’ve planned a lot of trips myself, including several visits to New Zealand and a five-week road trip around the South Island. I’ve also helped friends and readers work through the same decisions.

The resources here are designed to make that process simpler.

Instead of starting from scratch, you can use the same planning frameworks I use when organising trips. They’re practical, straightforward, and built around the questions people usually ask when planning a destination.

More travel planners and tools will be added over time.

Queenstown Trip Planner

If Queenstown is on your New Zealand itinerary, this planner pulls together the key decisions you’ll need to make before you go.

Queenstown is one of the busiest visitor hubs in the South Island, with hundreds of activities, tours, and day trips available. That’s great for choice, but it can make planning harder than it needs to be.

This planner helps you organise everything in one place so you can decide:

  • how many days to spend in Queenstown
  • which day trips are worth prioritising
  • which activities need advance booking
  • how to structure your itinerary

Why I Created These Planners

I started building these planning tools after seeing the same questions come up again and again from readers.

Blog posts are helpful for research, but when it comes time to actually organise a trip, most people want something simpler they can follow step-by-step.

These planners are designed to bridge that gap.
